Building security requires effective training — and effective training increasingly depends on advanced simulation systems. This means being able to practise a wide range of operations and scenarios, including those involving critical infrastructure such as railways. This year, 𝗦𝗜𝗠 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 together with the 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (Instytut Techniczny Wojsk Lotniczych) received a grant to develop a simulation system for 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹[...]

We have completed the on-time delivery and commissioning of a new 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲 simulator at the headquarters of Boss Sped Sp. z o.o.. Our vehicle library has just been expanded with another new model – the 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗟𝗜𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗣, developed for the Portuguese railway environment. For now, you can still see it running through Polish scenery – but the direction is already right. It is heading west. 😉 As usual, we did not stop at the exterior model. We are pleased to announce that SIM Factor has completed the delivery and commissioning of a railway simulator in the 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧 standard for Zespół Szkół Powiatowych in Drzewica - Powiat Opoczyński. The new simulator has been installed in the railway infrastructure and transport lab and will support education in the railway transport technician profession. It is equipped with 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺 of railway routes, software compliant with the 𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗠 𝗨𝗧𝗞 standard, and the ability to provide 𝗘𝗧𝗖𝗦 training across several vehicle types with different traction characteristics. SIM Factor and Hellenic Railways have signed two contracts covering new simulation systems for the Greek railway sector. Today, 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗯 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀, 1:1 replicas of the 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝟯𝟯𝟭/𝟭𝟵𝟱 units currently used by Northern, have left SIM Factor and are on their way to 𝗟𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀. These are 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗶𝘅 𝗰𝗮𝗯 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 ordered by Northern, with the other three already installed in 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿.
