SIM Factor and Hellenic Railways have signed two contracts covering new simulation systems for the Greek railway sector.

Under the agreements, we will deliver:
🔹 𝗮 𝟲-𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, supported by a 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
🔹 𝗮 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 with 𝟴 trainee workstations and 𝟭 instructor station

The driver training route base will include 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗸𝗺 of Greek railway infrastructure, including the 𝗔𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 – 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗸𝗶 corridor and railway infrastructure in Athens. Combined with SIM Factor’s interactive software environment, the systems will support training in 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹, 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗱 and 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 scenarios.

This is the 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗰𝗲 and an important milestone in the broader modernisation of the Greek railway sector. As signalling, telecommand and ETCS systems continue to evolve, investment in 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 and 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 becomes just as important as investment in infrastructure itself.
