We develop advanced 𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹-𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀 for both civilian and defence applications, so this year SIM Factor could not miss the 𝗠𝗦𝗣𝗢 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗲.
Building security requires effective training — and effective training increasingly depends on advanced simulation systems. This means being able to practise a wide range of operations and scenarios, including those involving critical infrastructure such as railways.
This year, 𝗦𝗜𝗠 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 together with the 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (Instytut Techniczny Wojsk Lotniczych) received a grant to develop a simulation system for 𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀.

The first results of this project will be presented during this year’s 𝗠𝗦𝗣𝗢 𝗶𝗻 𝗞𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗲 — integrated with our existing virtual railway environment.
The drone training system is a true 𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹-𝘂𝘀𝗲 project, designed for both defence and civilian applications, with the overarching goal of improving public safety.
To create this new type of simulation, we are building on the existing SIM Factor virtual world — a realistic and fully interactive simulation environment already used, among others, for train driver training.
